Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CustomTattoo AI (“CustomTattoo AI”, “we”, “us”), a service that generates AI tattoo designs, renders name and lettering tattoos, prepares stencils, and previews designs on photos you upload. By creating an account or buying credits, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Your account

You need an account to generate designs. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. Tattoo content is intended for adults, and getting a tattoo is an 18+ decision.

Credits & payments

The service runs on credits. One credit lets you generate one design. New accounts receive a small number of free credits, and you can buy more in one-time packs. Prices are shown on our pricing page and are charged through Stripe. We may change prices, pack sizes, or the free allowance at any time; changes never affect credits you have already bought.

Credits never expire. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold between accounts, and are not exchangeable for anything other than generations on the service. Free credits granted at signup or as promotions have no cash value and are not refundable.

Refunds

Purchases of digital credits are covered by our refund policy, which explains your EU 14-day withdrawal right, how it applies to unused versus spent credits, and how to request a refund. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory EU consumer law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to create, upload, or request:

• anything illegal, or content that infringes someone else's rights;
• any content that sexualizes minors, in any form;
• hateful symbols or content that promotes hatred or violence against people;
• photos of other people uploaded for try-on without their permission.

Designs are AI-generated suggestions, not professional or medical advice. Always confirm a design with a qualified tattoo artist before getting inked, and never rely on the service for medical, safety, or aftercare guidance. We may suspend generations that break these rules.

Your designs

You own the designs you generate and may freely use them for your personal tattoo purposes. We claim no ownership over your generated designs or over the photos you upload. Because designs are produced by an AI model from prompts, we cannot guarantee that any design is unique: similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users, and we offer no exclusivity. You are responsible for making sure a design you choose to get tattooed does not knowingly copy someone else's protected artwork.

AI output disclaimer

AI results vary. Designs may contain artifacts, distortions, unintended text, or proportions that differ from what you described, and try-on previews are illustrative approximations, not exact representations of a finished tattoo. Treat everything the service produces as a starting point to refine with a professional.

Service availability

We work to keep the service running but provide it “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, and the underlying AI models are provided by third parties whose availability we do not control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. If we close your account for a breach, unused credits are forfeited; if we discontinue the service entirely, we will handle any unused paid credits fairly and in line with your consumer rights.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes of a physical tattoo based on a design. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under law, including your mandatory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-law rules of your country of residence, and nothing here affects those rights.

CustomTattoo AI is operated by Elliot Ronsin, individual entrepreneur (France).
